Message from Michael
As we get closer to election day there are going to be many questions about the candidates positions and history. I want to make sure that people hear from me about my positions and be crystal clear on what I stand for:

Public safety for every member of our community will be at the forefront of what we do.

Due process is for everyone, regardless of status. Citizens and non-citizen deserve the protection of the constitution and due process. We will ensure that everyone is afforded due process of law and will not compromise on this point.

Immigrants are not to be blamed for our issues. I've worked in restaurants my entire life and know how hard immigrant communities work and how much they provide to our community. Our office will not condone attacks on immigrant communities and we will be fully prepared to investigate such behavior.

Hate crimes will not be tolerated. Our office will fully investigate crimes of hate while standing up for victims every step of the way. Attacks that are based on a person's race, citizenship, gender, orientation, or background hurt our community. Everyone in our community deserves to feel safe.

Reproductive rights cannot be compromised. Women have the right to choose what is best for them. I will vehemently defend a woman’s right to choose by opposing any effort that seeks to punish or investigate women, from this state or any other, for exercising this right.
The Democratic Party is a party that believes that the government can improve the lives of others by believing in equality, compassion, and understanding. When elected, this office will operate with those values in mind and will work to ensure the office applies the law in a way that everyone's rights are protected.
As a Cape Cod native and a career prosecutor I believe in the DA’s office and the work that it does. Victims and the Cape and Islands communities deserve better leadership from its District Attorney’s office. Leadership that is rooted in experience, community, and doing what's right, and not leadership that is based in politics and self-interest. That’s why I’m running.
